THE INKORE GLOSSARY

Draft

A draft is a first version intended to be reviewed, corrected or completed before any final use.

Also known as: first version · working draft

With AI, the draft becomes the basic unit of work: the machine prepares quickly, the person reviews. Draft status protects that review: until it is approved, the text commits no one.

A good draft is recognisable by how it looks: it doesn’t resemble a sent message, it shows the points to check and it is easy to correct.

IN A REAL SITUATION

For example.

A message prepared for a team remains a draft until its content and recipients have been approved.

IN INKORE

How Inkore applies it.

Documents prepared by Inkore are versioned drafts: you correct them, export them to Word, PDF or PowerPoint, and any sending goes through “Review”.

The point to keep in mind.

Preparing a draft and sending a message are two different actions.

Not to be confused with: Deliverable

The deliverable is the expected result; the draft is a step towards it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why keep the draft status?

Because it makes clear that the text has not yet been reviewed or approved. It stops content prepared by an AI from being used as if it were final, and it reminds everyone that sending, publishing or sharing remains a separate decision.
