THE INKORE GLOSSARY

Mission

A mission is a goal given to an AI as a preparation journey, with steps, review points and an expected result.

Also known as: AI mission · multi-step task

A one-off request produces an answer; a mission organises longer work: preparing, correcting, then exporting, for example. Each step has a result that can be reviewed.

A well-designed mission plans its stopping points: the moments when a person must review before the next part begins.

IN A REAL SITUATION

For example.

Preparing meeting minutes, identifying the open questions, then proposing next steps — with a review before the last step.

IN INKORE

How Inkore applies it.

In Inkore, a mission appears as a plan of steps that you approve before it starts. Steps marked for review stop, and the result waits for your decision: nothing is accepted automatically.

The point to keep in mind.

A broad goal must never amount to general permission to act externally.

Not to be confused with: Workflow

A workflow is a reusable sequence of steps; a mission is a specific goal with its own plan.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When should you use a mission rather than a simple request?

When the work involves several dependent steps — preparing, checking, correcting, exporting — and a review along the way is useful. A simple request suits a single result you can check in one go; a mission suits work where each step builds on the one before.
