THE INKORE GLOSSARY

Team workspace

A team workspace is a shared working environment that brings together members, their content and their permissions around a common purpose.

Also known as: shared workspace · team space

It stops everyone from working with their own copy of the context. Reference documents, projects and decisions live in one place, with permissions that follow each person’s role.

With AI, the team workspace also sets who can prepare, who can review and who can authorise an external action.

IN A REAL SITUATION

For example.

A team gathers its meeting notes and project documents in one workspace: an editor prepares the minutes, an administrator authorises sending them.

IN INKORE

How Inkore applies it.

An Inkore team workspace offers four roles: View only to read, Editor to prepare and edit, Administrator to manage access, and an owner. It stays separate from each person’s Work and Personal spaces. See Inkore for teams.

The point to keep in mind.

Define who can read, edit and share, and review these permissions when the team changes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why a team workspace rather than separate accounts?

To share a reference context and common decisions. With separate accounts, everyone prepares from their own version and the team spends time reconciling the results. A shared workspace keeps one reference version in one place and makes everyone’s role visible.
