THE INKORE GLOSSARY

Playbook

A playbook is a reusable request framework for one type of situation, such as preparing a meeting, clarifying notes or drafting a proposal.

Also known as: request template · prompt template · skill

It captures a way of working that works: the structure of the result, the usual sources, the points to check. Everyone can then start from that template rather than from a blank page.

In a team, sharing playbooks keeps results consistent: minutes look alike and proposals follow the same outline.

IN A REAL SITUATION

For example.

A minutes template — “Decided / To confirm / Next step” — gives a starting point that you adapt to each meeting.

IN INKORE

How Inkore applies it.

Inkore offers a library of playbooks sorted by category — listed as Use cases in the app — to use as the starting point for a request. The context is still chosen each time.

See Inkore for teams

The point to keep in mind.

A reusable template doesn’t remove the need to adapt the context.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference between a playbook and a prompt?

A prompt is one specific request; a playbook is a reusable template that helps you write good prompts for a type of situation. The prompt answers today’s need; the playbook records how your team usually asks for that kind of result, so each new request starts from a proven base.
