THE INKORE GLOSSARY

Traceability

Traceability is the ability to trace a result back to its origin and to the steps or decisions linked to it: sources, versions, approvals and actions carried out.

Also known as: audit trail · action history

It answers simple questions: what was this document prepared from? Who authorised this email? Was it really sent?

A trace is only worth something if it is linked to real events. A decorative history reassures without proving anything.

IN A REAL SITUATION

For example.

A record shows the documents used, the version prepared and the approval given for an action.

IN INKORE

How Inkore applies it.

In Inkore, “What happened” lists the actions carried out with their status, and their receipts can be exported. Sources keep their version number. See Inkore for teams.

The point to keep in mind.

A history display must be linked to real events to count as a reliable trace.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why does traceability matter with AI?

Because AI prepares quickly and in volume. Without a trace, a team no longer knows which version was sent, to whom, or who authorised it. Traceability links each action to the content that was approved and to its real status, which avoids duplicate sends.
